How does the kitten waitlist work?
We run a paid waitlist to make sure every kitten goes to a committed, loving home. Once you've paid your $500 deposit, you're officially on the list. When kittens are born in your preferred colour, we'll reach out and give you the chance to reserve one. It's first come, first served based on your position on the waitlist.
How much is the deposit and is it refundable?
The deposit is $500 and it's non-refundable. It secures your spot on the waitlist for up to 24 months. If we don't produce a kitten in your preferred colour within that time, you'll receive a full refund. However, change of mind or change in living circumstances don't qualify for a refund.
How many chances do I get to reserve a kitten?
You'll receive up to two offers to reserve a kitten over your 24-month waitlist period. If you decline both, your name will be removed from the waitlist and the deposit won't be refunded — so when we reach out, make sure you're ready!
How much do British Shorthair kittens cost?
Our pricing depends on colour:
- Solid Blue: $3,700
- Blue/Lilac Bi-Colour: $4,200
- Cream: $4,200
- Tortie: $4,200
- Lilac: $4,200
- Chocolate: $4,200
- Cinnamon: $4,700
- Longhair: $4,700
Your $500 deposit goes towards the total price. The remaining balance is due when your kitten reaches 10 weeks of age.
